I understand that an escrow account is required for the payment of real estate taxes and will be serviced by North Shore Bank at no charge to me. Wisconsin law allows me to select how North Shore Bank will pay my real estate taxes. I may request that North Shore Bank will make tax payments from the account in one of the following manners:

Select Your Option

Option 1 – We will send available escrow funds to you in a check payable to you AND the taxing authority. When choosing this option, if the check you receive is not enough to pay your taxes due, you will need to make up the difference. If the check you receive is more than your taxes due, the overage will be refunded to you by the taxing authority.
Option 2 – We will pay your full tax amount due directly to the taxing authority by December 31. If you choose this option, we will send, on your behalf by December 31st, the exact amount of taxes due directly to the taxing authority regardless of your tax escrow balance. No need for you to go to the treasurer’s office, mail in a check, or cover a shortage. This is the most convenient option for you!
Option 3 – We will pay your full tax amount due directly to the taxing authority when due. With this option, we will send the tax amount due, on your behalf, directly to the treasurer by the due date established by the taxing authority after December 31st of the current year.
