North Shore Bank Unveils Record-Breaking Lineup of 52 Restaurants for Its Third Annual Southside Dining Week

Week-long celebration kicks off Sept. 30 with Southside Showcase and culminates Oct. 7 with new Hand Pie Fest
Brookfield, Wis North Shore Bank’s Southside Dining Week, Milwaukee's premier celebration of international cuisine in the vibrant southside neighborhoods, is back for its highly anticipated third annual event. From Sept. 30 to Oct. 7, food enthusiasts are invited to embark on a culinary journey, as they savor signature dishes from an astounding 52 participating restaurants, making this year's event the largest ever in its three-year history.
Each participating restaurant will feature a special menu item priced at $15 or less, allowing residents and visitors alike to explore the rich flavors that make this region a food lover's paradise.

"This annual celebration highlights the incredible international cuisine that defines the south side, and we can't wait for everyone to experience the delicious meals and cultural offerings that await during this year's event."

Get ready for a week filled with culinary exploration, cultural discovery, and unforgettable dining experiences including the Southside Showcase at Zócalo Food Truck Park, presented by Mastercard®, on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event offers food and drinks from all food trucks at Zócalo, family-friendly activities, commemorative Polaroid photos to take home, games and charging stations, and live performances by local artists. New this year, Zocalo’s parking lot will be transformed to offer a free yoga class presented by Soul Collective MKE at 11 a.m. and a free dance class presented by Panadanza at 1 p.m.

New this year, Hand Pie Fest will take place on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the brand-new Mitchell Street Arts Collective. This ticketed event will feature a variety of hand pies, including empanadas, pierogi, and more, from southside restaurants, plus live performances and an audience vote for the Tastiest Hand Pie. Southside Dining Week is supported by multiple community partners, including the VIA Community Development Corporation, Historic Mitchell Street BID #4, Bay View Neighborhood Association, Walker’s Point Association, VISIT Milwaukee and more.

The bank will provide a $5 statement credit to its customers when they spend $15 or more at participating restaurants during Southside Dining Week using their North Shore Bank Debit Mastercard®. Restrictions may apply.
