Frequently Asked Questions

How does contactless technology work?

Contactless technology uses a hidden, embedded computer chip and radio frequency antennae. After you tap your contactless card or mobile device at checkout, payment details are sent wirelessly to the payment network. If you're using a mobile phone, moments after you tap, you'll receive payment confirmation and you'll be on your way.
