The easiest way to sign up for direct deposit is to present your payroll department with a completed Direct Deposit Enrollment Form. It will have all the information they'll need to get you started.
Your account number can be found on your eStatement, paper statement or checks (second set of numbers).
Your employer must start the direct deposit process, however, you can download a Direct Deposit Enrollment Form to expedite the process.
You can authorize direct deposit of your payroll, Social Security, retirement, Veteran's Administration benefits or almost any recurring deposits.
With direct deposit, your check is automatically and safely deposited into your account. On payday, your money is right where you need it.
There are several ways to change your personal information on file with North Shore Bank:
- Log in to Online Banking (web-based), go to Settings, then Profile
- Stop by a nearby office and meet with us personally. Bring along a photo ID, such as a Driver's License, for identification.
- By Mail - Send the completed Address Change Form to the address provided on the form

Currently, profile/contact information cannot be updated in the North Shore Bank Mobile App.
There are two ways you can update your contact information on file with North Shore Bank:
- Log in to Online Banking (web-based), go to Settings > Profile
- In Person – You can always stop by a nearby office and meet with us personally. Bring along a photo ID, such as a Driver's License, for identification.
Funds from telephone transfers are available immediately if transferred between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. CST any weekday or between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. CST on Saturdays. Funds transferred after these hours will be available the beginning of the next business day. Funds transferred on Sunday will be available on Monday.
Occasionally the credit reporting agencies incorrectly interpret the data given to them each month. If you are reviewing your credit history and notice an error, please contact the credit reporting agency.
There could be several reasons. There may be no funds currently available in your account or one of the accounts involved could be a passbook savings account, which does not permit such transactions.
Your account information is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the Mobile App and Online Banking.

eStatements are free electronic statements that can be accessed within the Mobile App or Online Banking. When you sign up for eStatements, your paper statements are automatically stopped.

For those enrolled in eStatements by December 31 of the tax year, your 1099-INT, 1099-MISC, 1042-S, and 1098 tax forms will be available electronically in January of the following year.
If you enroll in eStatements after December 31 of the tax year (but before the tax documents are distributed), you can access your tax forms electronically and your tax forms will be mailed to you by the end of January.
If you are not enrolled in eStatements, paper tax forms will be mailed to you by the end of January.
