BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank is encouraging Brookfield area community members to drop off new, unwrapped toys for the Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha County. Donations will be welcomed until the program concludes on Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Community members can bring their donations to the Brookfield Square (15700 W. Bluemound Road) or Brookfield Capitol (15830 W. Capitol Drive) branches. Specifically, the Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha County is most in need of new books, mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, blankets, craft items, infant and toddler toys, licensed items (Disney, Paw Patrol, Star Wars, Pok√©mon, etc.), and gifts cards from Kohl’s, Walmart or Target.

"During the holiday season, we’re honored to have the opportunity to give back and support local organizations that are having a positive impact on the lives of others,” said Maria Baumer, branch manager for North Shore Bank’s Brookfield Square office. “Thank you to everyone that has donated toys so far, we hope to continue the successful momentum through the end of the program on Dec. 12.”

Since 1949, The Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha County has promoted and coordinated giving to families in need during the Christmas season.
