North Shore Bank to Open First Germantown Branch Location in July

Community bank names Erica Hughes manager of new location
BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced that construction of its new, full-service branch in Germantown at N112 W15800 Mequon Road in the Sendik’s Village Center development is nearly complete and the brand new branch, which is set to open on July 20, 2020, will be the bank’s first location in Washington County.

The 2,250-square-foot branch will feature a Germanic design concept and branch interior that provides customers a personalized banking experience. The branch will offer easy to use service options that include a self-serve coin counter and remote Video Teller service that allows customers flexible options, including 70 hours/7 days a week extended banking hours.

“North Shore Bank has wanted to establish a presence in Germantown for a long time,” said Susan T. Doyle, senior vice president of retail banking at North Shore Bank. “With the area’s continual development and North Shore Bank having a strong customer base in the area already, we’re thrilled to continue our growth and join the Germantown community.”

Germantown Branch

North Shore Bank has named Erica Hughes as branch manager of the new Germantown location. Hughes has been with the bank for over three years as branch manager, and served the Germantown community previously in roles at area financial institutions. Under Hughes leadership, her service team will include bankers experienced in providing tailored advice in deposit, lending and retirement solutions for personal and business customers. Additionally, Germantown resident Jeff Burkhart will operate as the office’s dedicated Mortgage Loan Officer.

To celebrate the new branch, grand opening offers are now available online. Additionally, the first 50 cars to visit the new office’s drive-up on July 24, will receive a $5 Gift Certificate for Robert’s Custard in honor of National Drive Thru Day and on July 30 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., anyone who visits the new branch will be treated to a free Buddha’s BBQ sandwich from the bank (while supplies last).

From the day the bank opens for business through the end of August, North Shore Bank is also supporting two local non-profit partners, St. Boniface/St. Gabriel Catholic Parish Food Pantry and the Germantown Public Library.
  • Canned Food Drive – the community is invited to drop off monetary or canned food donations to support St. Boniface/St. Gabriel Catholic Parish Food Pantry, and the bank is matching up to $500.
  • Turn Your Coins into Dollars – the bank is offering no-fee coin counting for all. Bring in your loose change and donate all or a portion to support the Germantown Public Library. Now through August 31, the bank will match up to $1000.
