North Shore Bank to Host Free Business Seminar on Fraud Prevention

Experts to teach local businesses how to minimize their risk

WAUWATOSA, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced that it has partnered with The Bero Group to host a free business fraud prevention seminar from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Steinway Piano Gallery (11550 W. North Avenue).

Event attendees will learn about the types of business fraud, fraud’s financial impact, what can happen to an organization that is affected by fraud, common fraud schemes, real-life Wisconsin examples and more. They will also be taught how to plan for fraud incidents and how to take corrective action after an incident is discovered.

North Shore Bank’s Vice President of Commercial Treasury Solutions Penny Foust and Paul Rodrigues, a Senior Director and Certified Fraud Examiner from The Bero Group, will discuss current scams and how to minimize the risk to businesses.
